Mobile!

My blog has gone mobile!  Hopefully this will make it easier to post pictures and what not, and not like anyone cares, or like I have others besides kim that even pays attention to my blog.  If you have read this post, and post attention to my posts, comment below

Magazine purse

This is a coin-purse I made out of a Pure Romance catalog.  I had a bunch of old catalogs that were out of date and decided I should try and do something with them and not just throw them in the recycling, and this is what I did with them instead.  This one is big enough for me to put all of my cards and my phone in.  I didn't laminate them because I didn't know how well it would work out anyways.

The next one is a small, flat bottom purse I am working on using scentsy catalogs, and I did laminate these ones.  The result, a very thick durable purse that almost feels like vinyl.  It took me about 5 hours to laminate  about 200 pieces and then about 2 hours to fold them, and then another 2 hours to assemble them and make them into a chain and sew it all together.  Then I found out I needed to do double that and I'm taking a break because my back and fingers are sore from all the folding.  So here it is at the halfway point.

So I haven't sewn on the top row yet but here it is

I'll post again when I am done, right now I am trying to decide if I want to make handles out of chains or if I should just go to the craft store and buy some and glue them on.  Any ideas?

Warhammer 40K dudes

So my husband started play Warhammer 40K and he wanted me to paint them so here is what I have done so far.  I used the macro setting on my camera but they didn't all turn out the way I wanted them but they are relatively decent photos anyways. so here goes.....

 The next 2 guys don't have arms yet but who cares? lol

 I'm extremely proud of this guys head, I added eyebrows to match his custom color hair and gave him blue eyes and even pupils, not to mention I painted the inside of his mouth pink with his pearly whites : )

 So this one is some of the "terrain" that I painted, and you'll notice that it's super shiny, it's because I sealed it with a clear coat acrylic spray paint.  I had to custom mix the rust color at the time and I didn't have a good enough paint brush for the rust parts yet.

You can tell with this one that I didn't have a good enough brush along with having too much paint on it for the bottom corner of the door

That is all for now, but I'll have a ton more projects put up soon, very soon!

So this is my first time blogging, ever, so you are going to have to bear with me.  I make all kinds of crafts, all the time and thought I would share them with you.  I just need to gather them together and start posting pictures.  Here goes nothing!
